New 621 Brigade Commander Begins Duties

The newly-appointed 621 Brigade Commander, Colonel A.P Wickramasekara assumed office as the 7th Commander of the 621 Brigade on Thursday (4) amid religious observances and military formalities at the Headquarters, 621 Brigade in Welioya.

He was awarded military honours in a Guard Turnout at the main entrance.

He succeeded Colonel Shantha Ranaweera who has been appointed as the Commanding Officer at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) at Diyatalawa.
