Colonel Janaka Wijayasiri assumed duties as the new Commander 522 Brigade in Kodikamam on Thursday (31) amid a Guard Turnout honour.
Afterwards, the new Commander planted a sapling in the premises as a symbol of memory before he left his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Members of the Maha Sangha invoked blessings on the occasion.
