New 232 Brigade Commander Assumes Office

Colonel Roshan Jayamanna took office as the new officiating Brigade Commander of the 232 Brigade Headquarters in Thoppigala under the Security Force Headquarters - East in a formal military ceremony on Wednesday (27).

On arrival at the entrance of the 232 Brigade Headquarters, the newly-appointed Officiating Brigade Commander was greeted to a Guard Turnout.

Afterwards, he assumed duties in his office after signing a document. The new Officiating Brigade Commander later on planted a mango sapling in the 232 Brigade Headquarters premises and addressed All Rankers before he joined All Ranks for refreshments.

Commanding Officers and Staff Officers of the 232 Brigade were present during the occasion.
