General Gaurav Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana, Nepal's Chief of Army Staff, now in Colombo had a formal meeting with Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Defence and Urban Development at the latter's office at Ministry of Defence and Urban Development on Monday (3) afternoon.
During interactions, the visiting Nepal's Army Chief expressed his gratitude to the Sri Lankan armed forces for assistance in training of their officers and discussed matters of bilateral importance.
The brief interactions culminated with exchange of symbolic mementoes as the visiting military chief was to meet several other commanders.
