Naval Junior Staff Course Attendees Visit MIR HQ

Five Instructors, twenty-three Student Officers including a Naval Officer from Bangladesh following the Naval Junior Staff Course No-26 called at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental (MIR) Centre on Wednesday (26).

On behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment and the Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment the delegation was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel H.K.S Thillakaratne, MIR Staff Officer 1 (Logistics) at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre.

A formal briefing was conducted on the role of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment followed by a field briefing on the Mechanized Infantry Regiment related equipment. Thereafter, the delegation shared refreshments at the Officers’ Mess. Finally, head of the group exchanged mementos and posed for a group photograph to mark the day’s itinerary.
