National Thawheed Jammath & Jamatheii Millathu Ibraheem Organizations Banned in Sri Lanka

HE the President Maithripala Sirisena under Emergency Regulations on Saturday (27) evening Banned National Thawheed Jammath (NTJ) and Jamathei Millathu Ibraheem (JMI) Organizations. The Gazette Notification to this Effect is to be released shortly, according to the Presidential Media Unit.

Meanwhile, the Army Headquarters appeal the public to co-operate with the Armed Forces for conduct of their search and surveillance operations and inform following numbers of any information as regards members of these NTJ and JMI organizations, any of their movements or other intelligence;
