Mullaittivu Troops Open Public Road Across Their Headquarters

Just a few days after the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) released lands and properties in Keppapilavu and Seeniyamottai areas, the SFHQ-MLT taking one more initiative on January 1, opened the public road that runs across the perimeters of the SFHQ-MLT connecting both Puthukudiyirippu and Vattappalai.

Opening of this particular road patch which is motorable facilitates the public largely and provides easy access to those released lands and properties.

Earlier, the civilians were compelled to make a detour avoiding the SFHQ-MLT complex, but with the opening of the 2km-long road patch, enabling the public to go via the premises would spare a considerable period of time.

On the same day (1), devotees in Mullaittivu made offerings to the Kottadi Pullaiyar Kovil, repaired and completely renovated by Mullaittivu troops to symbolize the goodwill that prevails between ordinary civilians and members of the Security Forces.
