Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Commander Security Forces - Mullaittivu continued his field visits to under command establishments of the SFHQ-MLT.
Accordingly, he visited the 59 Division and its under Command 591, 592 and 593 Brigades on 29 November where he was welcomed warmly by respective Brigade Commanders. Tree planting and briefings on their roles were included in the programmes. He also addressed troops of respective formations.
Afterwards, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinha visited the 7 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, 24 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 23 Sri Lanka Light Infantry camps in the area and met troops.
Commanding Officers of those units briefed him on their responsibilities and invited him to leave memories by planting saplings in their camp compounds. Health guidelines were followed.
