More Vocational Trainees in CAVT Pass Out

The Center for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) at Kalaoya together with Sri Lanka Vocational Training Authority has been organizing vocational training courses for Army personnel at CAVT, Kalaoya since its founding on the instructions of the Commander of the Army.

77 more Army personnel including one officer and 76 other ranks and 21 civilians who successfully completed the training in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, Construction & Engineering, Leather Block Architecture, Aluminium Processing Architecture, Welding sections, received certificates on Monday (18) during a ceremony headed by Major General A. S De Z Wickramaratne, General Officer Commanding, 21 Division.

General Officer Commanding, 21 Division delivered a lecture about ‘The Army life’s experiences and how it could affect the future life’.

Colonel M. R. K. W. E Pinnawala, Commandant, CAVT, Lieutenant Colonel D. R. N Hettiarachchi, Commanding Officer, CAVT and Mr K. W Ranjith Lal, Programme Officer, Vocational Training Centre, Anuradhapura also attended the day’s certificate distribution ceremony.
