The Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ- West) with the objective of making the Panagoda Army cantonment greener and supporting the ongoing home gardening drive on Monday (2) distributed 200 saplings of Jack fruits, Mee, and Mahogany among Regimental centres and units, situated inside the Panagoda Army cantonment.
This was made possible on a conceptual suggestion made by Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander, SF-West in support of home gardening drive of the Army.
The saplings were made available to the Army by the Divisional Forest Office at Kalutara with the coordination of the SFHQ-West.
