The 591 Infantry Brigade of the 59 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu (SF-MLT) coordinated one more programme to distribute packs of school accessories, each worth over Rs. 7,300.00 for 86 students studying at Keppapilaw Primary School, Mullaittivu on Saturday (March 04) at the school premises.
This was made possible with the kind patronage offered by the International Rotary Club, Colombo through the coordination of 591 Infantry Brigade troops.
Brigadier Sujeewa Perera, Commander, 591 Infantry Brigade, together with Mrs Pubudu De Soysa, Chairperson, International Rotary Club, Colombo graced the occasion as chief guests while Senior Officers, Officers, members of the International Rotary Club, Colombo, Other Ranks, Principal, tutorial staff with students were present during the event.
At the end of the event, 591 Brigade troops provided refreshments for rotary club members, tutorial staff and the students.
