More Physical Training Instructors & Swimmers Pass Out

The Army Physical Training School (APTS) at Panagoda on 18 August had its Passing out Parade (PoP) of the attendees in the Assistant Physical Training Instructor Course -129 and the Basic Swimming Course-166.

Accordingly, representing various Regiments of the Army 130 Other Ranks followed the 2 month-long Assistant Physical Training Instructor Course and 31 Other Ranks followed the one and half month-long Basic Swimming Course.

Brigadier Colonel K.A.D.C.R Kannangara RSP, the Commandant Army Physical Training School graced as the chief guest in the Passing out Parade.

Following Other Ranks performed well in the Courses;

Lance Corporal P.R.P Perera - 1st in order of merit as the Best Male Student of the course

Private S.V Lakmali - 1st in order of merit as the Best Female Student of the course

Lance Corporal P.R.P Perera - Best Gymnast of the Course

Lance Corporal A.G.K.S.K Weerasinghe - Best Male Endurance of the Course

Private G.C Hasangika - Best Female Endurance of the Course

Corporal M.G.L.C Wijesooriya - Best Section Command of Assistance Physical Training Instructor Course

Lance Corporal K.G.N.P Udayakantha - 1st in order of merit as the Best Student of the Course
