Troops of the 6 Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) under the 22 Division of the Security Force Headquarters- East (SFHQ-E) with the intention of helping the community cleaned the Ayurvedic Hospital premises at Nilaweli on Saturday (5).
Moreover, troops of the 17 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) under the 23 Division distributed 100 dry ration packets among 100 low-income families on Monday (7). Mr. Athula Siriwardana, a philanthropist provided financial sponsorship to make this programme a success.
Commanding Officer, 17 SLLI and officers of 17 SLLI also attended the event.
