The Army Inter Regiment Table Tennis Tournament 2022 was conducted at the Army Indoor Stadium Panagoda during 26-28 September 2022, organized by the Sri Lanka Army Table Tennis Committee. More than 90 players representing 16 teams from 12 Regiments competed in the tournament.
The Championship was won by the Gajaba Regiment (GR) and Sri Lanka Signal Corp (SLSC) players were the Runner-up in Men’s category. Sri Lanka Signal Corps women was declared the championship in the women's category. Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps team secured the Runners-up slot.
Signalmen W.R.M Priyankara of SLSC was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament in Men’s category and Signalwoman T.N Rodrigo SLSC was the Best Player of the Tournament in the Women’s category.
The awarding ceremony was held on 28 September at Army Indoor Stadium Panagoda. Director General Infantry Major General Chaminda Lamahewa graced the awarding ceremony as the chief guest with the participation of the Chief Signal Officer, Major General Lalith Herath and many other distinguish invitees alongside.
This event was organized under the supervision of Brigadier Robin Benjamin, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Table Tennis Committee.
