Following sponsorship provided by Ven Anuradhapura Anuruddha Thero 100 dry ration packs were distributed among 100 selected needy families during and arrangement, held at No 11, Urewa and No 14, Bogahawewa areas on Sunday (28) following an initiative taken by Brigadier Coordination at SFHQ-Wanni on the instructions of Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, Commander, SF-Wanni.
The event was organized under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 62 Division Major General Upali Gunasekara with Commanding Officer of the 14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Lieutenant Colonel Jinesh Liyanagama.
The event was conducted with the participation of Ven Anuradhapura Anuruddha Thero and Commander 622 Brigade, Brigadier Anura Abeysinghe.
