18 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 12 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) as one more community-oriented project of their Division, provided a delicious lunch treat to the elders and children at ‘Pilisarana’ Home for differently able children and elders in Moneragala area on Tuesday (7).
Organized on the instructions of the Commanding Officer, 18 GW, all adults in this Home were entertained to lunch during the occasion.
More than 25 Officers and Other Rankers of the 18 GW actively took part in the programme and joined the distribution of lunch among the inmates.
Towards the end of the project, members of the Army interacted with those helpless elders and shared thoughts with them.
