In coordination with fish suppliers in the area, Mullaittivu troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) assisted the fishing community to distribute fish for the consumption of villagers on free of charge basis on Monday (13).
1 kg of fish was distributed among 500 families in Mulliyaweli, Nawal Kadu, Oddusuddan, Puthukkuddiyirippu areas, served by 59, 64 & 68 Divisions of the SFHQ-Mullaittivu.
591 Brigade Commander, together with 12 and 23 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Commanding Officers and 24 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Commanding Officer joined their hands with fishing communities to conduct this charity event.
