Milk Powder Packets Distributed among Civilians in Padaviya

The generosity extended by Fonterra Sri Lanka Company Ltd enabled 622 Infantry Brigade troops of the 62 Infantry Division to help low-income group families in the Padaviya Divisional Secretariat area on 17 December 2022.

Accordingly, 144 packets (400 g) of Anchor milk powder were distributed among needy families by 622 Infantry Brigade troops. The event was organized and closely supervised by the Commanding Officer of 14th (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Major K.B.G Attanayake under the guidelines of Major General Janaka Ranasinghe, General Officer Commanding of the 62 Infantry Division and the 622 Infantry Brigade Commander.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Shavendra Silva has facilitated the supply of those relief items.
