A team of medical specialists, organized by the 643 Brigade Headquarters at Muthiyankaddukulam, Mullaittivu arrived in Mullaittivu a few days ago and conducted a mobile medical clinic at Oddusuddan Karipattamurippu government mixed school.
Over 250 patients with dental, visual, skin and physical complications and diseases received treatment from medical specialists who had come there from Bandarawela, Diyathalawa, Horana, Vavuniya and Mullaittivu hospitals. 20 Medical Specialists including Gynecologist, Dr G.M.C. Gamage and minor staff prescribed medicine for those civilians.
At the commencement of the camp, several senior officers including 64 Division General Officer Commanding, 641 Brigade Commander and unit commanders were present.
