Mannar Troops Arrest Suspect with ‘ICE’

Troops of the Military Intelligence Corps and 11 Sri Lanka Artillery of the 54 Division in Mannar detected 25 gms of ICE (Cristal Methamphetamine) at the Mannar roadblock this morning (14).

During a snap roadblock check, this packet of ICE, kept hidden by a suspect was found from an SLTB bus bound for Madu from Talaimannr. The detection was made around 8.30 am.

Army troops handed over those illicit drugs and the suspect to the Mannar Police station for further investigations.
