Major General (Retd) Dammika Kariyawasam of the Sri Lanka Service Corps passed away today (Jan 13) morning due to a brief illness at Teaching Hospital, Kurunegala.
His funeral will take place on Monday (Jan 16) at Diyabawa crematorium in Malkaduwawa at 3 p.m. His remains lie at No. 10, Yatiweherawatta, Alakoladeniya, Malkaduwawa, Kurunegala.
