Major General Keerthi Costa’s Service to the Army Lauded

Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army on Friday (23) invited Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central to the Army HQ on the eve of the latter’s retirement from the Army and commended his more than three-decade long service.

During the meet, the Army Chief extended his best wishes to the retiring Senior Officer and shared a few thoughts with him who has served a number of key appointments in the Army, including Brigadier General Staff at the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu, office of the General Officer Commanding of the 64 Division before he was appointed the Central Commander.

Major General Keerthi Costa, one more proud soldier of the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) Regiment also thanked the Commander of the Army for his wishes and the thoughtfulness while mentioning about the encouragement he received from the Army Chief in the performance of his duties.
