Course attendees and troops at Maduruoya Army Training School (ATS) on account of Vesak distributed dry ration packs among 75 needy families in the area on Vesak Full Moon Poya day (26) following sponsorship, extended by Mobitel Lanka Pvt Ltd and Ceylon Biscuits Limited (Munchee).
On a suggestion of Brigadier Anil Samarasiri, Commandant, ATS, Army personnel with those relief packs, each worth about Rs 4000/= visited Arunapura, Pubudugama, Kandegama, Silumini Seya and Damminna villages around Maduru Oya and gave away those relief packs to needy people.
