The Army Logistics Command Headquarters at Salawa, Kosgama celebrated its 43 Anniversary on 1 January 2023 at the Headquarters premises.
Prior to the anniversary day, a Shramadana programme, an alms-giving and a donation of gifts were organized at ‘Sende Sevana Elders Home’ at Kosgama on 31 December 2022.
On the anniversary day, a ceremonial Guard Turnout was presented to the Commander, Army Logistics Command Major General Indu Samarakoon before he was honoured in a Guard of Honour parade. The Army Logistic Commander afterwards addressed the troops before joining an all rank lunch in the same afternoon.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
