Endurance March ‘Green - Rail Walk’ was organized in collaboration with Railway Department and Wildlife officials under the guidance of Brigadier W.M.S.N Wijekoon ndc AATO, the Commander Logistics Command - East in view of enhancing the spirit and comradeship among the troops in Combat Service Support (CSS) battalions in the area. The event unfolded on 21 April 2024 with the participation of hundreds of troops.
Soldiers marched with pride along the Colombo - Batticaloa railway track from Galoya Junction to Hingurakgoda and the event concluded with an entertainment session held in close vicinity to the splendid Minneriya tank.
The Commander of Logistics Command - East, along with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the endurance march.
