The closing ceremony of the 'Leadership and Career Development' Course-39, conducted for Senior Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) got underway at Combat Training School in Ampara on Tuesday (5).
Brigadier Roshan Jayamanna, Commandant at Combat Training School in Ampara delivered the closing address where a total of 79 NCOs followed this 3 Weeks -long Course. Sergeant W.D. Indrajith Udaya of 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps was selected as the Best Student in the Course.
Certificates were awarded to all attendees during the brief closing ceremony. Colonel Kamal De Silva, Commanding Officer of the Combat Training School was also associated with the occasion.
The comprehensive Course focused on true meaning of leadership qualities, prospects for promotion in the career, leadership traits, qualitative approaches and proper decision-making abilities, promotion of command and guiding instructions, exemplary conduct, etc
