Korean Ambassador During Meet with Commander Appreciates Army Role

Ms Miyon LEE, HE the Ambassador of Korea showing her goodwill towards the Sri Lanka Army paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu on Friday (06) at the Army Headquarters.

The Ambassador during her interactive meeting with the Commander of the Army expressed her appreciation of the work, being fulfilled by the Army across the country for the best interests of the country.

The Army Chief recalled sound relations that prevail between both countries for generations and stressed the need to further enhance cooperation in the future, too.

vAn exchange of mementos towards the end of the meeting symbolized the culmination of the cordial meeting.

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Director General General Staff and Captain Choi Youngseok, Defence Attaché, Embassy of the Republic of Korea were also associated with the meeting.
