Giving a boost to the government's organic fertilizer production process as per directions of the Commander of the Army, camps of the 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 9Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 14 Sri Lanka National Guard troops under the Security Force HQ-Kilinochchi on the directions of Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, have set up organic fertilizer production sites inside their camps in Kilinochchi region.
57 Division troops under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 57 Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardana with the Commander 571 Brigade Brigadier Dammika Welagedara, Commander 572 Brigade Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala and Commander 573 Brigade Brigadier Manoj Madurapperuma are now busy preparing ground work for such production sites with the objective of improving living standards of the public in the region.
