During a visit to the 57 Division HQ, the Commander Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi Major General G.V Ravipriya instructed, all General Officers Commanding to be vigilant against any eventuality of sudden floods due to continuing heavy monsoon rains in Kilinochchi district.
After the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division visited vulnerable and a few slightly affected areas on 24 November 2019, the Kilinochchi Commander issued this warning and recommended Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers be ready for professional interventions once again, similar to excellent previous efforts.
