One more pre-school in the hill capital, managed by the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) had its annual concert this morning (11) with the presence of Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President SVAB.
The kids at Viru Kekulu pre-school in Kandy, had their day at Kandyan Art Association and Cultural Centre, Kandy, showcasing their playful fund-making skills and artistic talents.
Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, Chief Guest on the occasion, accompanied by many senior SVAB members were impressed with the series of the events on the agenda as the spectators exploded into amusement and thundering applause.
Little kids at the preschool performed more than twenty cultural and fun making spectacles and thrilled the attendees for more than four hours. Parents, next of kin of the kids, invitees, Army Officers and a gathering of SVAB members enjoyed the colourful concert.
A little girl at the pre-school received the Chief Guest with a bouquet of flowers. Thereafter, Mrs Jayasuriya lit the traditional oil lamp with several others marking the inauguration of the concert.
