The Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) extending their helping hand to another community-oriented project, organized a distribution of bicycles to needy students in Jaffna on Sunday (17).
The stock of bicycles was donated to the Jaffna Commander by a Tamil donor after meeting him at the SFHQ office. 5 students selected from the low-income families from Nallinakkapuram village were given bicycles at the SFHQ-J under the guidance of the Security Force Commander - Jaffna, Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi.
It is noteworthy to mention that the SFHQ-J has been able to distribute approximately 400 bicycles to deserving students in Jaffna Peninsula during the last one year, through well-wishers.
