Jaffna Troops Educated on ‘Practical Application of Buddhism into Life’

Members of the 'Managers Forum' in Jaffna were among those who listened to a lecture, delivered recently by a southern orator on 'Well-being at Workplace' at the Institute of Engineers in Jaffna, following coordination, facilitated by the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J).

Jaffna 'Managers Forum', comprised of a gathering of entrepreneurs, businessmen, retired judges, scholars, intellectuals, retired medical practitioners and all strata of elite private administrators has readily organized the conduct of the lecture by Mr Nalaka Hewamadduma after the Jaffna Commander informed them of the lecturer's presence in Jaffna.

Mr Nalaka Hewamadduma, a reputed public orator who was in Jaffna during March 5-7 delivered the series of lectures to all Officers and Other Ranks at the SFHQ-J at the invitation of Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J).

Lectures at the SFHQ-J focused largely on 'Well-Being at Work Place’ and 'Practical Application of Buddhism into Life’. A large gathering of all ranks listened to the lectures.
