Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna made visits to the 55 Division Headquarters and under command Brigade Headquarters during 21- 22 January.
He was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 55 Division. The GOC afterwards conducted a comprehensive briefing on their roles in area of responsibility. The Security Forces Commander after a few minutes addressed the troops and Staff Officers of the 55 Division.
The Jaffna Commander afterwards visited 551, 552 and 553 Brigade Headquarters serving under the 55 Division. The Security Forces Commander was warmly welcomed by respective Brigade Commanders.
