Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, the recently-appointed Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna (SF-J) visited the 52 Infantry Division HQ in Mirusuvil, Jaffna on Thursday (June 15) for the first time after his assumption of office.
The Jaffna Commander on arrival was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc before he received a briefing on the role and tasks, current affairs and projects, being performed by Infantry Division troops. Afterwards, he addressed all Officers and Other Ranks in the premises.
Later on the same day, he visited the 521 and 523 Infantry Brigades located at Vallai and Allarai areas respectively. All Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff of 52 Infantry Division Headquarters were present during those visits.
