Inmates at Kaithady ‘Shanthi Nilayam’ State Home for Adults recently had a day of entertainment and fun when the members of the 7 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (7 SLAWC) of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) called at the Home for Adults.
The visit was arranged under the leadership of Major Geethika Rankotge, Commanding Officer of the 7 SLAWC with the support of lady Officers and other woman soldiers.
During the programme, those elderly inmates were served refreshments and provided music in Calypso entertainment, in which they also sang together and enjoyed the day.
