Infantry Training Centre (ITC) in Minneriya bade farewell to Major General W.B.J.K Wimalarathna RWP RSP, the Outgoing Commandant of ITC during a simple ceremony on 04 May 2024.
In accordance with military traditions, a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour were accorded before the Outgoing Commandant marked the end of his tenure by signing the official handing-over document.
Afterwards, he addressed the troops and extended his gratitude for their support given during his tenure. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the ITC were also present during the occasion.
