MONERAGALA: AN SLTB PASSENGER BUS plying along BUTTALA-KATARAGAMA road came under fire near 149th km post at GALGE around 10.30 a.m. killing three and injuring more than fifteen.
The driver of the bus amidst a rain of terrorist bullets, managed to drive off and reached KATARAGAMA hospital premises soon after, enabling the injured to be admitted to the hospital.
Three passengers died and sixteen passengers sustained injuries when a group of three unidentified gunmen went on firing at the moving bus indiscriminately.
