The Dhamma preaching series organized by the Directorate of Personnel Administration and the Army Buddhist Association on the directions of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army reached the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Wednesday (April 26) for conduct of the project once more at the SFHQ-J auditorium.
Ven. Balangoda Radha Thero, Chief Incumbent, Belihuloya Seela Samahitha Yogasramaya conducted the programme with the intention of enhancing moral development and spiritual understanding among the troops. His oration covered mindfulness, mental health and well-being, etc.
Accordingly, necessary arrangements were done by the SFHQ-J troops under the guidance of Major General D.B.S.N Bothota RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of SF-J. More than 600 Officers and Other Ranks of the SFHQ-J participated in the event.
The same project was conducted earlier at 1 Corps and SFHQ-Wanni following instructions given by the Army Chief.
