Inter Regiment Women’s Cricket Championship Goes to 3 SLAWC Team

3 (v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps cricket team after a close tussle against their rival, 2 (v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps cricket team won the championship in the Inter Regiment Cricket Tournament, held recently at Anuradhapura Prison Grounds.

The tournament organized for the second time was held under the league system with the participation of all the Women’s Corps teams.  

Major General U.A.B Medawala, Chairman, Army Cricket Committee attended the prize giving ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The woman of the match was Private M.A.S.S Jayathilaka of 2 (v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
