Inspiring Lecture on War Literature at 52 Infantry Division

A Psychological Operation Workshop was successfully conducted at the 52 Infantry Division Headquarters on 25 April 2024 with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks serving in the 52 Infantry Division and its under-command battalions.

Troops of the 52 Infantry Division in liaison with the Directorate of Media & Psychological Operations organized this educative session under the direction of the General Officer Commanding the 52 Infantry Division, Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc aiming to boost the morale of the soldiers while imparting knowledge about history.

A captivating lecture conducted by Lieutenant Colonel E.A.A.S Chaminda, Editor-in-Chief of the Ranaviruwa Monthly Magazine enlightened the audience on 'Sri Lanka Army War Literature' sharing exceptional wartime experiences under the theme of 'Heroic Defender'. Additionally, Major M.H.M.S Bandara from the Military Intelligence Corps delivered insights on ‘Proud Soldier,’ emphasizing the significant role of a professional soldier in boosting the spirits of the participants.

20 Officers and 318 Other Ranks participated in the lecture.
