Inauguration of the New Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess at SLAVF

The newly constructed Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) was officially opened by Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of SLAVF, on 01 April 2024. This facility is a long-standing need for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of the SLAVF.

The construction of this Mess was made possible through the dedicated efforts of troops of the Volunteer Battalions of Garrison Engineering and Engineer Service Regiments of the Volunteer Force, who contributed their workforce assistance for the project under the guidance of Major General M.T.K.R. Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of SLAVF.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
