Giving a boost to the ongoing 'Thuruliya Wenuwen Api' Project, initiated by the Commander of the Army, the ICC and Nivasi Developers Private Limited in Homagama donated a stock of 600 valuable saplings to Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces - West and Overall Operations Command on Monday (3).
The stock included 299 Karanda plants, 30 Ehela plants, 140 Mee plants, 80 Kumbuk plants and 50 Koboneela plants. The Army will distribute those plants among Army personnel for planting in most needed areas shortly.
