Headquarters Logistic Command held a series of meritorious activities on account of Vesak commemoration.
Troops cleaned up the Boralugoda temple premises and Kosgama Government Hospital on Wednesday (29).
Next day, troops cleaned up the Children’s Home premises of the Kosgama Sarvodaya Suwasetha Seva Society and offered lunch to the inmates and the staff of the children’s home.
A Belimal Dansela and a display of Vesak lanterns and decorations in the Log School premises on Saturday (3) drew a huge gathering of civilians who are interested in sight-seeing during the Vesak. The inaugural opening of the exhibition of lanterns and the free eatery (Dansela) was attended by Major General R.M.J.A Ratnayake, Logistic Commander.
