Lieutenant Colonel Puneer Sushil, Assistant Defence Advisor (DA) of the Indian Consul General Branch at Hambantota made a courtesy visit to the 61 Infantry Division, located at Boossa on Monday (Nov 21).
He was warmly welcomed by Major General Udaya Herath, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 61 Infantry Division before an interactive discussion got underway in the presence of a few Officers at the office of the GOC.
Later on, the GOC presented a memento to Lieutenant Colonel Puneer Sushil marking the significance of the occasion. Prior to his exit, he left a few complimentary remarks in the visitors' book at the Division HQ.
