HAHN Talks to Woman Soldiers at their Headquarters

The ongoing ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ (HAHN) project of the Army Hospital launched another educative programme at Women’s Corps Headquarters, Borella on Wednesday (25) for Officers and Other Ranks on ‘Maintenance of health standards’.

Lecture programme educated the attendees on ‘Correct meal procedures’, ‘gynaecology and mental health’, ‘prevention from non-communicable diseases (NCDs)’, etc. During the lecture, a drama related to the day’s topic was also staged. A total of 150 Army personnel attended the lecture.

Brigadier (Dr) A.S.M Wijewardene, Head of the HAHN project, Colonel D.C.J Wickramaarachchi, Consultant gynaecologist, Lieutenant Colonel K.G.N.U Jayasinghe, Physiologist, Dr Rawimal Galappaththi, Psychologist, Lieutenant A.C.K Udugama, Nutrician conducted the series of lectures.
