GW Soldiers Educated on 'Developing Attitudes & Anti-Social Acts'

Regimental Headquarters of the Gemunu Watch (GW) at Kuruwita, recently organized a lecture on ‘Developing Attitudes of Sri Lankan Army Soldiers to Reduce Anti Social Activities’ at the GW Regimental Lecture Hall premises for both Officers and Other Ranks.

At the request of the Colonel of the Regiment, Chief Inspector H.W Keerthi Jayantha, a Training Instructor in the Police In - service Unit at Anuradhapura conducted the special lecture.

The half-day programme which covered spheres, like Child Protection, Anti Social Activities, Juvenile Unrest, Social Values, Soldier’s Burning Issues, Counseling and Building of Good Family Organization, was attended by 28 Officers and 360 Other Ranks of the GW.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the Deputy Commandant, Colonel M.R.K.W.B Pinnawala.

As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to the visiting lecturer towards the conclusion of the educative lecture.
