Grand Finals of Inter Division Badminton Competition Held

The grand finals of the Inter Division Badminton Competition of the Security Force Headquarters -East got underway at the indoor stadium of the 3 Corps of Engineer Services on 28 December 2022 with the participation of five teams of the 22, 23 and 24 Infantry Divisions.

The overall championship of the tournament was won by the 23 Infantry Division team while the runners-up trophy for the overall championship was grabbed by the team of the Security Force Headquarters-East.

Major General Chanaka Meththananda, Commander of the Forward Maintenance Area East attended as a distinguished guest and joined the prize distribution.

Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces -East gave his blessings to General Officer Commanding of under Command Divisions to Conduct the Tournament the 22 and 23 Infantry Brigades as well as other Senior Officers in the Army.
