GR Coffee Book 'Storm of Warriors' Presented to President

Both new Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva and the new Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, both Gajaba Regiment (GR) veterans in a very rare gesture of coincidence, added eternal memories to their outstanding Regiment by presenting the maiden copy of the Storm of Warriors which documented the legacy of the Regiment's span of history, evolution since its founding, its infrastructure growth, battlefield achievements of unmatched nature, bravery and gallantry and unparalleled contribution of its War Heroes to liberation of the motherland, etc to HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, himself a former GR member on Thursday (2) at President's House.

The table 'coffee book' project, initiated by General Shavendra Silva as Colonel of the Regiment was compiled by a team of GR Council Members in a move to document the operational commitments of the GR in the past with a set of pictorial accounts.
