BATTICALOA: ARMY TROOPS serving the general area of MEEYANKOLLA, BATTICALOA in another breakthrough uncovered a large stock of terrorist ammunition on Friday (11) at about 12.45 noon.
The recovery contained 1800 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) rounds, 300 Multi Purpose Machine Gun (MPMG) rounds, 700 T-56 rounds and three 60 mm mortar fuses while they remained kept hidden by Tiger terrorists.
Police investigations are on.
