GOC Engineer Division Visits Headquarters, 6 Field Engineer Regiment

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Engineer Division, Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc, visited the Headquarters, 6 Field Engineer Regiment on 28 March 2024.

Upon arrival at the 6 Field Engineer Regiment, he was honoured with a Drive Pass by the troops of the Unit. Subsequently, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Overlooking Commanding Officer, Major R.M.L.A Rathnayake USP psc SLE and delivered a comprehensive briefing on the functions of the 6 Field Engineer Regiment.

Adding memories to the day, the GOC was invited to pose for a few group photographs with the Unit staff and was also invited to plant a sapling in the compound. Following this, the GOC addressed the troops, followed by an All-Ranks tea session.

The visit concluded with an inspection of the camp premises. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
